WiFi, Fibre & Network Cabling in Yzerfontein

Dead spots, buffering and a weak signal in the back bedroom or out on the stoep: we fix home WiFi properly with mesh systems, well-placed access points and proper network cabling. From setting up a fibre or LTE router to running data points for a work-from-home office, we make the whole house connect, including outbuildings and patios. Thick walls and long coastal passages are no match for the right gear in the right place. Whether it’s a guesthouse needing solid guest WiFi or a family tired of arguing over the buffering wheel, we survey, fix the dead spots, and leave you fully connected.

WiFi & Network FAQs

Why is my WiFi weak at the back of the house?
One router in the corner of a house rarely covers the whole building, especially through thick or double-brick walls. The fix is usually a properly placed access point or a cabled mesh node, not a stronger router.
Is a WiFi extender good enough?
Sometimes, but extenders halve throughput and often just spread a weak signal further. Where we can run a cable, a wired access point is far more reliable.
Can you cover a large or double-storey property in Yzerfontein?
Yes. We survey where the signal actually drops, then place access points to cover the areas you use, including outdoor spaces if you want them.
Do you run network cable?
Yes. Cabling is what makes multi-point WiFi work properly. We route it neatly and terminate it properly rather than leaving flying leads.
Will the setup survive being left empty?
We can set it up to reconnect on its own after a power interruption, which matters when nobody is at the house to reset a router.
Can you connect my decoder to the network by cable?
Yes, and it is usually the better option. A cabled decoder holds a far steadier connection for Catch Up and Showmax than one on marginal WiFi.
